2024

Instead of writing a book to assist abused women, I'm writing my fifth book about business applications of the 80/20 Rule. Its title is "Secret Keys to Spark Profit: Easy Steps to Prosperity."

2021

I enjoyed reading about your amazing lives. We're a class act.
Now for our update. Ken and I live on the intracoastal waterway, a few blocks from Daytona Beach. My husband was the Development Review Engineer for the city. He retired at 65, un-retired, and recently re-retired from the same position.
I taught marketing and research courses for Bethune-Cookman University (HBCU). Over 2000 of my marketing students made profits from their entrepreneurial venture. One semester I helped about a hundred students conduct research for their senior thesis plus teaching other courses.
After retiring I wrote several books about applying the 80/20 rule to marketing. Now I'm writing a self-help book for abused women.
In addition to enjoying our five grandchildren, our favorite hobbies are white water rafting, tennis, church, and travel. We've decided to remain young.

All ya'll,

My publisher plans to release my book just before the reunion.  Top Market Strategy: Applying the 80/20 Rule.   I'll bring copies.

I was so exciting to see your faces again from our high school days.  Those were the days!  At the last reunion I attended, at first it was easier to recognize classmates by their conversations than by their appearances.  They were still in the same conversations as before!  Then I started looking for the child within and unpealed the years from their faces and behold, I saw the same youthful twinkle I knew so well.

Now for my story.  I have more degrees than a thermometer: B.S. in Business Management in 1965, followed by a B. M. E. in String Music.  I even earned a Ph. T. by writing almost half of my husband's dissertation in International Marketing.  My child Chuck was born after teaching music a few years.  I collected three more degrees as we moved around: M.M.E in Music Education at the University of Michigan, M.S. in Marketing at Georgia State, and Ed.D. from Northern Illinois University.

My work life has been varied.  I have led fascinating marketing research projects for many famous clients, and developed and distributed statistical software used around the world.  I have taught Marketing classes at Millikin University in Decatur, IL; Thunderbird (AGSIM) near Phoenix, AZ; St. Xavier College in Chicago, IL; and I am now teaching at Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, FL to be near my mom who thrives at 95.

Catching you up to date, I recently published articles that substantiated Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and the Theory of Comparative Advantage.  But more importantly, I married Ken Kruger, a Civil Engineer at Palm Coast.  We skiied in Northern Italy on our honeymoon and love tennis, swimming, riding the waves, walking on the beach, sailing, and jet skiing.

What fun it will be to see you again and to share our lives with one another.
