Graduated from W. Lafayette HS
in l961 and worked at Cary Hall as a secretary for 6 years - met my
husband there and married in l966 - he went to graduate school and in
l967, we moved to Baytown, Texas to work for Exxon. Have lived in Texas
for 4l years now - have two daughters, Renae and Rachelle - 5 grand
children - 2 girls and 3 boys - One daughter is in Stephenville, Tx. and
one in Denver, Colorado. Husband was President of Pakhoed for many years
- It is a Dutch company that handles storage and distribution of oil,
fertilizer, and other items. He retired a few years ago and is consulting
for Port of Amsterdam. We got to travel to Europe alot when he was
President and have been in many countries. I have family in
Lafayette still and come back every year to see them - husband is on
several Purdue committees and was named a
Purdue Distinguished Engineer. We enjoy our two Yorkie
dogs, doing things with our children and all went to Disneyland last year
and had a wonderful time. I volunteer at a local hospital and have for 26
years - I am at the information desk. I work part-time at a local florist
answering phone and taking orders during their busy times of the year. |
