Marsha Hunt Lamb, 69, of West Lafayette, died at
5:45 PM Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Rosewalk Village.
She was born May 1, 1943, in Logansport, » IE' to the late
Robert Dean and Karen Grimm Hunt . She was preceded in death by a
brother Robert Dean Hunt II.
She graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1961 and received her
BS in Elementary Education at Indiana University, where she was a member
of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority and an IU cheerleader. She served on the
IU Foundation Steering Committee, was Co-Chair of St. Elizabeth Hospital
Park-O-Rama and camp counselor at Grace Bentley for handicapped children
in Michigan.
On August 7, 1965 she married James E. Lamb and later divorced, he
preceded her in death.
Marsha attended Trinity United Methodist Church for many years and
enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She took pride in
being a care giver, in this regard she touched an untold number of
lives, and enjoyed art, writing, music and watching sports.
Surviving are two daughters Deborah A. Lamb of West Lafayette, Diann
(Dee Dee) Lamb of Miami, FL; a son Michael J. Lamb of Indianapolis; her
grandson Thomas A. Lamb; a sister Deborah Hunt Lawrence (husband James)
of Naples, PL, children, Jon Lawrence (wife Melissa) and Jill Giles
(husband James); a brother Dr. Gary A. Hunt (wife Stacy) of Carmel,
their children Jeremy Hunt, Jennifer Knight (husband Billy), Lindsay
Raimondi, and Jayme Hunt; a sisterin- law Kay Hunt of West Lafayette,
her children, Julie Davis (husband Paul), Robert Dean Hunt III (wife
Krista) and Brad Hunt (wife Emily), and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be from 5:00 pm to until the time of the
service at 7:00 pm Monday, July 30, 2012 at Soller-Baker West Lafayette
Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway West, West Lafayette, IN 47906.
Those wishing may contribute in her name to National Alliance on Mental

Hello to All -
We're really looking forward to seeing as many of you that can make the
trip. It's a chance to catch up on all the news. I really
thank Mary for all she's done.
