I read all
of your write ups. I was and I don't know why, surprised at all of the
advanced degrees and involvement in education. I guess the apples don't
fall far from the trees. I was also surprised by the number of you that
have retired. I also found it interesting, we ended up spread all over the
country. I plan on attending the reunion. Mary K won't be with me as our niece is getting married in LaPorte that week end and she is going to the wedding. After working for Travelers for 25 years we left CT and moved to Boca Raton, FL. We have lived here the past 13 years and love it. Our son Jeremy and his wife Saundra live in Palm Beach Gardens, about 35 miles North of us. He is an attorney in West Palm Beach. They have two year old twins, Jack and Allysa. Our daughter Greta is married to Matt who is the Director of Horticulture for Old Salem Villege in Winston Salem, NC. Greta teaches Kindergarten. Our grandson Liam is a year old. My sister Jeanie is a consultant and working in Madison WI. I am working for Aon Corporation and sell a consulting product for them. A traveling saleman. Who would have thought. I don't intend on retiring anytime soon, but when I do the last thing I plan on doing is getting on another airplane. I have stayed in touch with a few of our classmates. I got a nice tour of Seattle a couple of years ago from Don M. I saw Jack F and Bob B about three years ago at Mom's funeral. I occasionally see John and Anita at football games and I recently exchanged emails with Ned B. and Bone. Bone is in Thailand visiting his wife's family. He promised to look me up when he returns. Hugh and I get together a couple of times a year to play golf and laugh about the old days. We started a tradition of spending New Years eve in Boca. Mary K tells me she thinks we are very sophomoric. Things have not changed much in that regard. I look forward to seeing all of you. |
