It was rewarding learning each business and then moving to something new.

I enjoy downhill skiing and belong to a ski club. We have made numerous trips west. Most places we have gone several times. Some are Aspen-Snowmass, Vail-Beaver Creek, Breckinridge, Keystone, Copper, Steamboat Springs, Jackson Hole and Grand Targee, Baniff, Whistler-lackcomb, Lake Tahoe-Squaw Valley-Heavenly, Telluride, Durango, Winter Park, Crested Butt, Taos, Big Sky and Big Mountain Montana. We have also done the Park City Area. I now have my husband hooked.

With 5 friends, I had a fantastic adventure white water rafting the Colorado river through the Grand Canyon. We went 277 miles for 8 days and 8 nights. It was a thrilling trip.

Colby graduated from Jefferson High School and Purdue. He spent several years pursuing his love of Archeology in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Florida and Indiana.

This June 9th he will marry a lovely girl (Michele). I would have chosen her out of thousands to be my daughter-in-law. She seems more like a daughter to me. We love her dearly. They will reside in West Lafayette.

My step-son, a 6 ft 5 inch 250# wonderful guy, graduated from Xavier and IU Law school and now has a very successful law practice in Indy.

I retired in 2001,sold the house we lived in for 25 years, married my awesome husband and moved to Carmel IN.
I married Dr. Richard Bloch. Rich's specialty is Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He is Chief of Dialysis at the Methodist Medical Centers in Indianapolis. He and his group also do Kidney transplants.
Ironically, I was born at Methodist Hospital and my mother was a registered nurse there. I, John Freehafer, and Joyce Newlin were most likely in the nursery together as we were born days very close to each other.

Rich and I built a cottage close to Lafayette on the Tippecanoe River near the YMCA Camp Tecumseh for our wonderful weekend get always. A close friend has a cottage next door and one of Rich' partners bought a place close to us and then 2 of the transplant coordinators bought cottages on the other side of us. This summer we are going to have a huge "Bago" tournament!

Our hobbies are traveling, photography, snow skiing, snowmobiling, boating and our cottage with loads of wildlife and birds.

Some of the great adventures we have taken are, Belize, Guatemala, Panama Canal and Panama City, San Blas Islands (Home of the Kuna Indians), Portobello, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Galapagos, the Caribbean Islands (windward and westward), British Virgin Islands ,Venezuela and Angle Falls, Margarita Island and others.

We are also fortunate to be able to travel for conferences through  out the US. We want to thoroughly visit all the states and are well on our way with only a few left. Last year we had a great self planned car trip to Alaska. Fantastic. I even ran into a grizzly bear. (fortunately I had been to bear school!) We loved Hawaii and are going back next year.

Where could 45 years have gone?
I am so looking forward to seeing all of you and learning about your lives.
