Unfortunately, I do have some sad news to report. As Bob Dienhart had been a good friend of mine (especially in the first two years), I tracked the family down through the local phone directory.

I got his brother Fritz, who told me Bob died on January 3, 2011 in Hawaii. He had moved there only a year or so before. Fritz put me in touch with the woman he had lived with for 17 years who told me he was mostly in clothing retail (Indianapolis I think); had gotten a degree from Ball State after attending Purdue for a year, and had stayed interested in art. His death evidently came as a complete surprise to them both.
